Good value for the money....
We purchased 2 of these E-Bikes... our first experience with e-bikes. Easy to assembly. Everything was packaged very well. I must admit they are built quite well for the price! The peddle assist works very well!! The battery plate that is mounted on the main downtube is not mounted straight on either of these bikes! I took the battery mounting plate off mine and actually filed the threaded inserts on the left side to try and get it to lay flat. It does sit better now but could take a little more off to get it completely lined up to sit vertically... they lean to the right. It's not a big deal... just bugs me when I look at it from the riding position. We were very uncomfortable with the low handlebars and have since purchased a stem extender and new handlebar mount to bring the handlebars up and back towards the rider, so you aren't leaning over so far. So far, the battery is holding up pretty good... but we only have a little over 130 miles on them. The seat?! pretty much non-existent. but I suppose once you get your butt in shape for sitting on a thin hard surface... you'll be ok (still working on that). Got the wifey a new seat. wise move.... We had a little trouble with error codes. I placed the bikes in the back of my truck and after taking them out and turning mine on I immediately got a 24 ERROR code. Be aware of the connector under the right rear arm that connects the motor to the electronics and battery. It was loose and not making connection. Called tech support and they were very helpful. After disconnecting ALL the connectors and re-connecting them... It finally worked. Then my wife received a 25 ERROR code minutes later! So... also be aware that you cannot hold either brake lever and turn the display power on to the bike..! We have noticed that every once in a while, the bike seems to jump forward! just a bit but it's very strange. So now my wife, after a couple whacks in the shin with the peddle, now powers it up AFTER she gets on. Not sure if we are hitting something to cause this or not! Would be interested if anyone else is experiencing the same phenomenon! These bikes seem to handle pretty well and appear they will hold up for quite a while!! Will add more after we get some real miles on them. For an entry level E-Bike... These are great!

Easy to assemble solid bike
I was looking for an eBike, and looking for one that looks like a bike, affordable, and gives me a good range. The Heybike Race Max seems to have it all. I bought it to deliver before Christmas, but it delivered a few days after. I don't blame them due to the storm and also busy holiday schedule, although I did pay about $70 for the delivery. When I opened the package, everything is packaged very well. The only a handful of things to install: 1. the front wheel, the seat, the handle bars, and the pedals. It is very similar to a regular bike. one thing that stood out is there aren't many wires sticking out. many of the wire that drives the bike are hidden within the frames. That is pretty impressive. Another thing is the bike is quite heavy. It would be difficult to carry it up stairs or try to hang it on bike hangers. It feels like 50 lbs.Assembly was straight forward, but I did struggled with the front wheel until I realized the needed part was in a sealed box. The instructions seems to miss the front wheel assembly. Other than that, everything was just common sense. After I got everything assembled, I proceed to adjusted the breaks so the disc wont' be rubbing on the breaks. I read Amazon reviews that this is almost an impossible task to keep the break disc from rubbing on the breaks. I hate the noise when the breaks rubs, it really drive me insane. To my surprise, it took me just about 2 minutes for each wheel to get them spinning freely without rubbing on the breaks. I tested the breaks and found they do have good stopping power, but unlike my other high end regular bikes, the breaks doesn't stop on a dime, and worst of all, makes sound when you break. When I turn on the main switch on the bike, the headlights came on, but the bike is still off with display darkened. It took me 10 minutes to realized that you have to hold press the middle display button to enable it. So you have to turn on the power, then turn on the bike. That was not obvious. To be fair, that was in the instructions, but I figured it out before going through the instructions.I tested the bike riding it for a few blocks. The bike has good power. Setting on 1, will give you a boost or assist while you peddle, it feels like riding a regular bike, you can still put up a sweat. Setting 2 will give you more power and without peddling. Setting 3 will accelerate real fast and move up any hill like it isn't there. I still haven't test the range of the bike, but I am not a full time reviewer, I will just ride it to work back and forth and update this review later. I do agree with others who purchased the bike the seat is oddly uncomfortable and not suitable for long rides. That isn't a problem for me, I can just change it out.All and all, not the perfect bike. It is heavy, uncomfortable seat, and breaks aren't as responsive and makes noise. There are much benefit to this bike: It is very affordable; it doesn't have wires hanging all over place. It works out of the box, It looks nice, and it is easy to assemble. I will give it a 5 stars for now.

Good for Price, but Expect Replacements!
I've put over 2000kms on my e-bike so far with it being my main form of transportation for the last 4 months. First off, it is really fun to ride and very user friendly! It also looks great and I get a lot of compliments on my bike! I really prefer that this actually looks like a bike, unlike those weird fat ones that are basically glorified mopeds. However! It is clear that you're mainly just paying for the battery and motor. I got a flat in both tires on my second ride and tires started balding in less than a month. The seat is a literal pain in the ass. The pedals snapped about 2 months in and I've already had to replace the brake pads.Bottom line is that you will have to invest in this bike and spend more money to fix it up with higher quality parts. BUT it is well worth the time, money, and pain! I really enjoy riding it and so far the frame, motor, and battery have all held up well! What's especially nice is that I can go about a full week without even having to charge the battery! I very much recommend this bike, just be ready to learn about bike repair!
