The Ultimate Fixing Solution for Drylined Walls!
If you’ve ever struggled with securing heavy items to drylined walls, Corefix is an absolute game-changer! Unlike standard wall fixings that risk crushing the plasterboard, Corefix secures directly into the solid wall behind, giving incredible strength and stability.I used these to mount a large wall cabinet and a heavy radiator, and they performed flawlessly. The installation is quick and straightforward—just a drill, hammer, and screwdriver are all you need. The engineered steel core ensures the weight is transferred away from the plasterboard, providing complete peace of mind. What really impressed me was the load capacity—tested up to 250kg on four fixings, these are rock solid. Whether you’re mounting TVs, boilers, cabinets, or sanitary ware, it delivers unmatched reliability better than others fixings I have usedIf you’re a DIYer, plumber, or installer, I’d highly recommend keeping a pack of these on hand. They save time, eliminate the need for extra support, and provide a truly secure fixing. An essential product for anyone working with dot and dab walls!

Absolutely brilliant!
Tried everything to put some shelves up in our kitchen and then someone pointed me in the direction of these. They aren't cheap, but they just work and the fact my shelves are going to stay up now and not pull away from the wall, or damage the plasterboard, they are actually worth the cost. They've left my shelves very strong and secure.Easy to use. 8mm drill (didn't even need hammer action as they've used thermolite block on the inner) bang in the plastic plug, bang in the steel collar, and screw your bracket in with the screws provided.

Brilliant on thermolite/aircrete, even under heavy load
Invaluable for thermolite/aircrete blocks. Recently used to mount 2x sets of shelves, both of which are subject to heavy loads. Allows the weight to be distributed across the various substrates, including front-edge plaster, plasterboard and thermolite behind it. The shelves have been heavily loaded for a number of months now and no hint of any sag - and having drilled and fitted 36 bolts on the first set of shelves, and 54 bolts on the second set, there's also no cracking of adjacent plaster. Win-win.

Great if used properly - see my recommendation
These do provide a sturdy fixing but you have to be careful.DO NOT hammer drill with a 10mm masonry bit!To start and for the initial hole, get through the plaster with an 8mm masonry bit WITHOUT hammer action to get a clean hole in the plaster. Then hammer-drill with the 8mm bit into the masonry behind. The coarseness of the block behind the plaster and the vibration will result in a wider than 8mm hole.Because you need a fairly tight fit with the red plug, very lightly/roughly finish off the hole with a 10mm bit - try without hammer action on for that first. Just don't drill it too much as the red plug needs to be tight in order for the screw not to slip.Hammer home the plug and metal sleeve at the same time.Hand tighten the screw - some may slip so be careful - that's a sign that your drill hole is a bit big.

Very good product
Very good product.Care must be taken when drilling into hard block as the unusually deep drilling process can cause the drill to wander off course as the block has a variety of materials both soft and hard!

Great fixing
Perfect dot and dab fixing. Used these to secure kitchen units to a dot and dab wall without issue. They do require an M10 hole for the plug and insert but once in the fixing is firm. The insert takes up the gap between the plasterboard and brick/ blockwork. Therfore when tightening you're not going to damage the plasterboard with the insert taking the load and tightening force.Great speciality fixing.

Perfect for new builds.
I bought these because we live in the new build with dot and dab walls. I hung some curtain rails and a new shower on our walls and in no time they were coming loose so I replaced all the screws with these and everything is completely solid now. Quite expensive, but well worth it to stop your curtain reels falling off the wall every time your wife tries to tie your curtains and knot when she’s hoovering. Very easy to use drill the hall using the drillbit indicated on the box inside the plug insert the metal support and pop the screwing nice and neat on the wall looks good.
