PERFECT TASTE AND QUALITY. JUST TOO EXPENSIVE.

This is a great old-fashioned simple syrup and definitely does have a smoky flavor to it. If you really like your old fashioned smoked use this and then smoke it with some wood pellets on the top for an amazing smoked old fashioned!

One of the better mixes I have tried. The directions call for 1/4 ounce but I add a little more for a slightly sweeter old fashioned. A quarter ounce in a 2 ounce whiskey pour to me tastes like whiskey. While I enjoy whiskey neat and on the rocks, I get closer to 1/2 ounce to get the flavor right for an old fashioned. I would recommend this mix and I will probably buy it again for those times I just don’t feel like making this drink from scratch.

I really like the Old Fashioned syrup... I actually signed up for a subscription of the 2 pack every month, but the Maple Pecan is overly sweet and the Smoked syrup is nasty IMO
