other than some weak instructions on installing them, the struts work fine. the instructions dont tell you that you have to remove the little wire clip first. it just says to push the new struts on after removing old struts. you cant do that until the clips are removed. and they are very easy to lose if you are not careful. there is a very small hole that the straight part of clip has to go into first than you rotate the round part to push on

Pain to install but they do a great job of helping open and keeping the hatch open. I took a small screwdriver and pulled the clips partially out , then installed the struts on the hatch first, then on the body. I had to have help holding the hatch up but I'm not as strong as I once was. Overall they are worth the 5 star rating.

First, they fit perfectly and they are very strong. However, pay special attention to the top attachment. On my 2009 Camry the attachment that goes on the hood doesn't fit. The reason is that I need it to tilt back about few degrees to lock. See pictures. The one in the right ia the Factory and the left is what comes with these struts. Simply unscrew the new part and screw the old part

When I ordered this it came earlier than they told me. but it was an open box with nothing in it. I called and they sent me another set and this time I got it and was very happy. It works perfect on my SUV. thanks . Rita

These are very strong. They were supposed to be replacements for my 2004 trailblazer rear hatch and they do work but are almost too strong. It is difficult for an older person to close now. Easy to assemble though

Fit perfectly on the 2011 outback! Finally back to a hatch that doesn’t try to kill us! Installed them ourselves with a socket wrench.

Awesome fit and easy to install.
