From the small feet to the top of the clock is 4 1/2 inches.

Does the nightlight stay on after you press the button?

No. It only stays on as long as you keep it pressed in.

Why does my alarm ring both 5am and 5pm?? i’m only trying to set it to am. please advise

This particular clock does not differentiate A.M. from P.M. It will ring, for example, every time at 5:00 regardless whether it is morning or afternoon. So, when it rings at 5:00 a.m., shut the alarm off until you go to bed. Then turn the alarm on.

Is the white a true white? It looks light green.

It's not "chalky" white, but is definitely white. I'd call it a creamy white. (Not ivory; not yellowish.) I do not see any hint of green in the white clock. Mine is next to a white ceramic lamp and the clock looks white.
