should I size up for wide feet? my boyfriend needs a 12 wide, would a 13 work instead? I intend for these to be used as shower shoes at the gym

Can’t say for sure but I ordered them for the same reason. The 12s were too tight but then when I went up to 13 they were really too long. Try them and return unused if needed.

Are these non slip when worn in the shower

Sorry, I haven't worn them in the shower before. I do step into them when leaving shower and no slippage at all. Also, they are very comfortable. Be blessed. Romans 8:28,31,38-39.
