i am trying to make an evaporative cooler with this fan.. does it have enough power to suck in air through wet evaporative pad or sponge?

No, its not that great. Its has got a small motor, and as mentioned by the Seller, it doesn't give you 2500RPM also. So don't invest in this. It will not be able to justify your requirement.

This is a small exhaust fan. With good exhaust. The one which I bought still in good and in running condition. Its size is 6 inch. Can also be used as FAN is kept in reversed side or if you change direction of the rotation of the fan.

I used it from last one year and it doesn’t work now. No one in my locality is able to repair it. How can I get it repaired?

Buy a new one, its worth the money spent.
