Great Product
I have used similar brands in glass bead gels. I find this one superior. When used alone it does not yellow and works well in paintings and crafts.

Great
Easy to work with and dries fairly quick. Tints really nicely and looks beautiful when full cured.

Great for raised stenciling
I use this glass bead gel with a metallic paint mixed in for raised stenciling. I love the result.Just a reminder, you need to keep your stencil clean, but don't wash the stuff down the sink. It could clog your pipes, you want to use a garden hose or a bucket. I use a large pan that I put my stencil into with water and do it outside or if it's cold, I use cleaning wipes.

Works great!
This product looks great and it performs wonderful the only thing I would say is that you might want to let it air dry a tiny bit if you mix other products into it before using it with your stencils. I was very happy with its texture and performance and I will use it again

Great product!
I love this stuff!I've always used spackling compound or joint compound to create raised stencils, but glass bead gel is awesome as it puts a lot of added sparkle into your raised stencils! You just mix it with a little amount of paint you need for your stencil, mix it together and wow! You have some sparkly magic ready to apply to your project! It's a bit more expensive than joint compound, but the golden brand is one of the more economical brands compared to others that are way more expensive! The only setback to using any glass bead gel is that you should not wash off your stencil and let the stuff go down your drain or it will clog your pipes! So if you use it, go outside and rinse it with your garden hose!A little more difficult to clean up, but so worth it when you pull the stencil away and see the magic you've created!

expieriemented on furniture- tricky to apply but cool once you get the hang of it
I got this bead gel to use on a wooden framed mirror to give it a sparkly and textured appearance. I did not want to use glitter because that looks too child-like for the look I was going for. I could not find reviews for this product used on furniture so I am leaving one now for anyone considering using this on furniture.I painted the frame of the mirror a metallic silver prior to applying the bead gel. The gel is tricky to work with and wasn't sure of the best way to apply so I used a popsicle stick. The gel is more runny than imagined it would be but its not horrible to work with. I tried to spread this on as thinly as I could while still maintaining an even coverage- THAT was the hard part. It you apply too much pressure your beads will drag and you see the drag marks and it doesn't look that good. This took about a day to dry completely. In the end, I was not satisfied with the end product. The gel base ended up taking away from the metallic of the paint. If I were to do this again I would probably use a silver leafing or foil for under the gel. I did consider adding a second coat of gel and I still might- however I am still bummed about the silver paint not being as sparkly as it as prior to the gel application. I ended up needing to use a lot more than I anticipated- about half of the 8oz jar, but if youre using this for paper crafts or painting- 8oz will last you a very long time.I probably will use this again for another project- something smaller like coasters or something. This product would work well for paper crafts and canvas painting and will add some real texture and interest to your creation. attached is a pic of the gel on a scrap piece of wood painted silver

It looks amazing when done correctly.
Make sure you wash your stencils in between each application. Your stencils has to be secured well or the edges run. Add a little drop of paint to make it pop. This was done with 3 drops of bright gold paint and it turned out amazing. Also works as clear. I've used it several times and I love the raised stencil look. Dries hard and is very durable.
